Juanita- owner Canadian Natural Oils
I love using Rose Hip oil to strengthen and nourish the skin. Rose Hip is naturally packed full of vitamin C and does a wonderful job to repair capillary damage, gently lift pigmentation and keep the skin overall healthy, vital and supple. The biggest issue with Rose Hip oil is finding one that is fresh and stable, as the natural vitamin C in the oil can oxidize quickly so most commercial products are no longer effective. This is one of many reasons why I love this local, modest company. Her oils are as fresh as you can possibly get, wild harvested and cold pressed using top of the line European technology without ever resorting to harmful solvent extraction processes. Juanita, the founder and creator of the oil blends has a heart of gold and it really feels like that comes through in her products!
This oil on its own is wonderful for the skin or can be used under or over your favourite moisturizer.
Ingredients: Organic Rose Hip fruit and seed oil, Cold pressed Grapeseed & Sunflower seed oil, Chamomile oil, Carrot seed oil, Pure natural vitamin E, Rosewood oil, Rose Absolute
"Medical Scientists have shown rose hip oil to be a powerful skin-tissue re-generator. Researchers found that rose hips contain from 10-100 times more vitamin C than any other food! Rose hips also contain many vitamins and essential minerals such as calcium, iron & phosphorous. Vitamin B1, B2, A, E, K, P & niacin are strongly present. Research has shown that rose hip oil is beneficial for sensitive skin, thread veins, capillary damage or weakness & very effective in promoting tissue regeneration. It’s also useful on scars, burns & wrinkles. Excellent for spider veins, varicose veins & helpful for inflammation of mature, dry, hard or over exposed skin. Our rose hips have been tested for nutrient values, the results were rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, Beta-Carotene, iron, zinc manganese, copper, boron, potassium & nitrogen. They also contain vitamins E, A, B1, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous & sulfur."
